the FPS just jumped from 80 to 222 fps, the distribution of the CPU load appears more even. so say the efficiency cores are doing 60%, the 2 performance are doing 25%, the rest are 10% or less. my 2 efficiency cores are indeed doing "more" here, but also 2 of my performance cores are doing more than the rest too. I too prefer hardware encode, I too have it at a place that I like - granted this is lower quality than most people would prob prefer, but I have a narrow use case where absolute minimum bitrate is preferred.
